Meet The Team

Ro is our Pre-school supervisor. She has been with us for 22 years and has over 26 years pre-school experience. She has seen hundreds of children pass through our doors - some of whom have even come back to do work experience! Ro has many qualities and certainly knows how to bring out the best in every child. Tireless in her pursuit to ensure the Pre-school is a fun, educational and happy place to be, she is still very much a hands on member of the team and her real strength lies in how she relates to the children. (Ask them about her magic tissue!)

Avril is our Deputy Supervisor with a Diploma in Pre-school Practice. She is also our Health and Safety Advisor and a First Aider. She has worked at the Pre-school for 22 years and brings her own special creativity and ideas to help the children grow in confidence. She has a very special recipe for the soft dough sessions that the children love.

Judy is a Pre-School Assistant with an Advanced Diploma in Childcare and Education and has just completed her first year of an OU degree in Childhood Studies. She also has taken courses in First Aid and Creative Storytelling. Judy has been with us for 7 years and knows how to enhance the children's musical and creative abilities with her own unique and calm style of teaching. Her gift is her ability to engage children with her stories and to come up with a different twist every time. 

Roz is a Pre-School Assistant and has a Diploma in Pre-School Practice. Her skills encourage the children 's creative learning through making/sticking and tactile play. She is great at letting the children come up with their own ideas and then helping them to carry out the more difficult problems themselves.

Sue is our newest member of the team. She is NEB qualified and has worked in the Reception year of Primary school. She has nannied in Europe and brings this experience to help in our setting. The children really enjoy the role play sessions with her, especially dressing-up .
