Equipment and Resources Policy

We believe that high quality care and education is promoted by providing children with safe, clean and appropriate resources, toys and equipment.

We aim to provide resources and equipment to help extend the children?s knowledge, interests and skills.

In order to achieve this we provide play equipment and resources which are safe and ? where applicable conform to safety standards.
· We provide sufficient quantity for the number of children.
· We provide resources which promote all areas of learning and development.
· We select books, equipment and resources which promote positive images of all people.
· We check all resources and equipment regularly.
· We keep an inventory of equipment.
· We provide adequate insurance cover for the resources and equipment.
· We plan the provision of activities and appropriate resources so that a good balance is offered. Back to top
